What qualifies a day
Every day in the window is checked against two traditional lists: the activities it is suitable for (what suits) and the activities it is not (what to avoid). A day qualifies only if your activity is in the first and not in the second.
Qualifying days are then ranked:
- Yellow road — days governed by one of the six auspicious day deities rank highest.
- Day officer — a day whose officer is not classed as black road ranks above one that is.
- Mansion — an auspicious mansion adds weight.
- “Nothing suitable” — if the almanac says nothing should be done that day, it is pushed down regardless.
The optional zodiac filter
Traditional date selection removes days whose clash sign is the applicant's own zodiac. Give a birth date and the tool drops those days, telling you how many it hid. This is one classical rule, not the whole method — which is why the note appears with the results.
What this tool will not claim
It will not tell you a date is the right one. It cannot see your chart, your useful elements, the hour of the event, or the local custom your family actually follows. Treat the shortlist as a way to narrow a calendar from thirty days to five — then decide with the people involved.
