Two complete reports, start to finish: one from the Four Pillars, one from Zi Wei Dou Shu. Same
layout, same sections, same length as the reading you pay for — including the year ahead and the
next ten-year cycle, which is where most of the value sits.

Year of Ji Wei, 5th lunar month, 20th day, Chen hour
In one paragraph. A Ren water day master born at the top of summer, with one
deep root directly under it and a great deal of fire above. The water is real but outnumbered,
so this is a chart that does best when it borrows strength — credentials, contracts, a second
person — rather than when it pushes. Wealth and authority are both present and both demanding:
opportunity arrives faster than capacity to absorb it. The useful instruction for the whole chart
is to convert heat into structure, and to stop treating rest as something earned.

02 · What the structure says
Ren water is the ocean rather than the rain — it wants volume and movement, and it dislikes being
channelled. Born in the Wu month, the chart is hot and dry on the surface, and only the day branch
gives the water somewhere to stand. That single root is why this chart functions at all: remove it
and the reading would be about endurance; with it, the reading is about leverage.
The metal on the month stem is the most useful element in the chart and the least dramatic —
Resource, meaning study, certification, a mentor, a written agreement. Every time this chart feels
stretched, the answer is one of those four things rather than more effort.
03 · This year, 2026
Bing Wu on the year, and it lands squarely on the day branch: a direct clash between the Rat under
the day master and the Horse above it. Translation — a year of movement, and not the decorative
kind. Address, employer or the shape of a close relationship changes, or all three negotiate at
once. Wealth is strong this year and so is the appetite to chase it.
What to do: let the movement happen where you choose it. The chart handles a
planned relocation far better than an imposed one. Keep the metal working — a course, a
qualification, a contract signed before the autumn — because it is the only element that turns
this year's heat into something that lasts.
04 · The next ten-year cycle, 2032–2041
Jia Zi begins at 54 and is the most comfortable pillar in the whole sequence: Eating God over a
peer, water returning to its own element. For twenty years this chart has been borrowing strength
to carry fire; here it stops borrowing. The decade reads as a change of role rather than a change
of income — from the person who delivers to the person who explains, teaches, advises or writes
the method down.
Practically: what you build between now and 2032 should be transferable. Assets that produce
without your presence, a body of work with your name on it, and one or two people trained well
enough to run the thing without you. The decade rewards reputation over hustle, and it punishes
anyone who arrives without either.
Sample ends here. The delivered reading carries the same six sections plus a
life-areas page (work, money, relationships, health) and five concrete actions.

Masters
Life master Lu Cun · Body master Tian Xiang
In one paragraph. An empty Life palace in Yin, borrowing Tian Ji and Tai Yin
from across the board: a quick, mobile, aesthetically alert temperament with no fixed centre of
gravity, which is either its charm or its problem depending on the decade. The Body palace sits
in the Wealth palace on a weak Gate star — so the things that actually occupy this life are money,
argument and the reputation built out of both. This is a chart that talks its way forward.

02 · What the board says that the pillars cannot
The Four Pillars describe constitution and timing; the board describes placement — which part of
life gets the traffic. Here the traffic goes to the Wealth palace, and the star in it is weak.
That is a specific and useful sentence: money is where this life is spent, and it is not where this
life is easy. The same weakness explains the pattern of earning through speech, negotiation and
explanation rather than through assets.
03 · This year, 2026
The annual palace returns to the Career palace, on a strong Sun — the year wants you visible.
Within it, Tian Tong transforms to Wealth in the Inner-Life palace (rest becomes profitable, which
for this chart means: stop treating recovery as laziness), Tian Ji takes Authority in the Travel
palace (movement goes your way), and Lian Zhen obstructs in the Siblings palace — friction with
peers, co-founders or a partner of equal standing.
What to do: take the visible role, expect one argument with an equal, and book the
rest before the calendar fills. The obstruction is in the peer palace, not the authority palace —
so the friction is horizontal, not vertical, and it is settled by clarity rather than escalation.
04 · The next decade, ages 46–55
The decade palace is Wealth itself: ten years organised around money, invoicing, pricing and the
arguments those three produce. With a weak Gate star in charge, the risk is not poverty — it is
spending a decade negotiating. The counter-move is structural: fixed terms, published prices,
written scope. Put the argument in the contract once and the decade stops repeating it monthly.
The decade after (Children, ages 56–65) moves the emphasis to what you have built and who inherits
it — people, students, a body of work. Which is the argument for treating these ten years as the
ones that fund the next.
Sample ends here. The delivered Zi Wei reading adds the full twelve-palace
table with brightness and transformations, the four palaces that carry money and position, and five
concrete actions.
What's inside every reading
The chart, reproduced. Pillars or palaces, with the ten gods, hidden stems, brightness and transformations — so you can check the arithmetic against any other calculator.
The structure, in plain English. What dominates, what is missing, what the chart is actually good at.
This year. The current annual pillar or palace, what it lands on, and what to do about it.
The next ten-year cycle. The single most useful section for planning, and the one most readings skip.
Four life areas. Work, money, relationships, health — written for this chart, not for your sign.
Five actions. Concrete, boring, doable this month.
One free revision within seven days if something reads wrong. The reading itself is written work made to order, so it is not refundable once it has been sent.
Six pages, one chart, 12 hours. $19.88 — the request form sits under your result
on every tool page. Choose BaZi or Zi Wei; the reading follows the chart you calculated.

Four Pillars: your birth moment written as four pairs — year, month, day, hour — each a Heavenly Stem over an Earthly Branch. The stem of the day pillar is you. Everything else is read in relation to it.
No. There is no account and no database. The calculation runs inside your browser, the address bar never carries your birth details, and nothing is saved once you close the tab.
The hour pillar changes the whole chart — the day master's support, the luck cycles, the palaces. Without it some tools refuse to guess rather than hand you a confidently wrong reading.
Yes — the monthly digest sends one email a month with the coming month read against your chart. One click to unsubscribe, and the address is used for nothing else.
